All Gemstone Globes 2-3 working days delivery to UK mainland. To give the deep blue ocean colour the globes are coated in lapis lazuli. Each gemstone globe is constructed from individual hand cut pieces of semi-precious stones to represent each country. The larger the globe, the more detail and stone variety. Well over forty stones are used for large sized globes. Three and four legged globe stands are gold, bronze or pewter plated. They have all been authenticated and verified by the Guildford Astronomical Society. All stars shown can be seen by the naked eye and there are in excess of twelve hundred Mother of Pearl hand cut stars in each globe. The constellations are joined together by fine gilded wire and the legends are silk screen printed. The ecliptic suns are of natural Argonite set in a Black Agate sky.
